The Treetop Walking Path is the first path in the Baltic States and entire Eastern Europe that provides an opportunity to take a walk high above the ground, at the level of treetops. The Treetop Walking Path was opened on 7 August 2015. The Treetop Walking Path Complex includes an information center, the path, and a watchtower.
Architects of the structure: Alvydas Mituzas, Arvydas Gudelis, Andrius Dirsė. Original architectural solution: a folk band from the Lithuanian ethnocultural region called the Highland was selected to be the architectural motif of the watchtower. Diamond-shaped motifs in the band dominate the facades. 395 tons of metal and 1500 m3 of concrete were used to build the Treetop Walking Path.
The Treetop Walking Path is located in Anykščiai Pinewood. This relatively small forest is one of the most famous forests in Lithuania. Anykščiai Pinewood was made famous by one of the most prominent poets in Lithuania Antanas Baranauskas. He wrote the poem “The Forest of Anykščiai” in 1858-1859. While traveling through the Treetop Walking Path, you will discover certain extracts from the poem. There are 6 information stands situated between the information center and the Treetop Walking Path. The stands introduce various trees, as well as our natural and cultural value – Puntukas stone.
The Treetop Walking Path is 300 meters long and gradually rises to 21 meters above the ground. The watchtower at the end of the Path is 34 meters high and enables visitors to observe the praised Anykščiai Pinewood, admire the winding Šventoji River, and see the towers of St. Matthew Church, which is the tallest church in Lithuania.
The Treetop Walking Path Complex is administered by Anykščiai Regional Park Direction.

Nors ir bijau aukscio uzlipau net i boksta. Vaizdas nuostabus.
Informacijos centre norint nusipirkti suvenyrą nenori nepriimti grynais €.. Labai nemaloni pardavėja.
Ideāla vieta atpūtai.Visiem iesaku.
nelabai patinko man net neleido palinkti aukšti su liftu teisiog nuvyle
Vaizdas gražus bet labai jau trumpas tas takas ir mokėti tokius pinigus tikrai neapsimoka, šeimai 4 asmenims 10 eurų už 5 min pasivaiksčiojima.
